Davy Road

In September 2024, Cambridge City Council committed to redeveloping existing council owned flats on Davy Road, at a meeting of its Housing Scrutiny Committee.

Through the Cambridge Investment Partnership (CIP) we intend to provide highly sustainable new council homes to meet the city’s housing needs.
Alongside affordable new homes, the landscape-led scheme will provide attractive green spaces clear connections with the surrounding neighbourhood, including Coleridge Recreation Ground.
To share our plans with the local community, we are holding two in-person consultation events on Tuesday 9th December 2025, from 3pm to 7pm, and Wednesday 14th January 2026, from 3pm to 7pm, at the Church Hall at St Martins Church, Suez Road, Cambridge, CB1 3QD.
Find out more about our events below, where we invite you to attend one.

Residents’ Consultation

We held a residents’ consultation event on Thursday 11th July, with Council Officers and members of the project team in attendance to discuss the option of redevelopment and answer any questions.
You can find the consultation boards from the event below. If you would like a copy of the residents’ survey that was available at the event, please get in touch.

About Cambridge Investment Partnership

Cambridge Investment Partnership (CIP) is an equal partnership between Cambridge City Council and The Hill Group.

It was created to support the council in tackling the city’s housing affordability crisis by delivering high-quality new council homes and market-sale homes – both of which are in high demand – and associated commercial and community facilities.

The Partnership model allows the joint investment of land, funding and professional expertise in housing and mixed-use development.

In 2025, CIP completed its 1,000th new home, including 650+ new council homes, across 23 sites in Cambridge.
